Efterklang? You and I both buddy, i have no clue what that means, anyways about two years when i first heard of this band from the album 'tripper' i had to do some research about them because their sound was something i haven't really heard much of, from the first listen i felt that reminiscence of múm with the glitch but the more i heard different songs from various albums they've released their style evolved from mum's glitch sound, i heard the use of more wind and orchestral instruments it kinda seemed more like a scored arrangement, as much as i tried to do the research but i couldn't any real biographies of them, they aren't really that big of a band at least in the states, i mean coming from Denmark of course. So i didn't find out if they arrange their pieces but i did find out though that they have 5 core members and they play individually various instruments ranging from flute, computer sequencing, piano, drums, trumpet and choir, they also have 4 live band members that help arrange the choir, play violin, piano, trombone and guitar. if this danish band ever comes to the states I'm definitely attending that show i have to be there and witness how this sounds like live and see what message they're trying to evoke, because this little review will never be finished until i see that conecrt, hopefully their newest effort 'Parades' keeps me intersted, i just hit the play button on the first song.
